Cooking gas users are now able to alter their traders as the government has established LPG portability strategy on the lines of cell phone services. But unlike mobile services where users have the choice to change between different cellular businesses, LPG Consumers May now Change their Traders could have the restricted choice of altering only their traders, not the petroleum firm and Consumers May now Change their Traders.

“Indane Gas distributor (trader) portability has been launched now in Chandigarh and will probably be expanded to at least 25 more districts within the upcoming fiscal,” Oil Minister M Veerappa Moily informed reporters.
